Migraine update

I went to the headache clinic last week Thursday, and the Doctor is taking me off my daily preventative (Lyrica). Instead, she recommends a vitamin blend as being very effective for prevention.
Here is the blend she suggests:

Magnesium Citrate 150mgm
B2 200mg
Melatonin 2-3mg (at bed time)
Butterburr 75mg

I am going to Goodness me tonight to purchase these and will take my first dose before bed. I will be updating my status, month-to-month, as I will not be fully weaned from Lyrica for a little while.

Wish me luck!!

  1. I hope that approach worked well for you. There are proven researches that recognize deficiency in vitamins and minerals causes severe headache, mainly because unhealthy diet is a major trigger for migraines. In that case, I suggest you supplement your vitamin intake with balanced diet and less consumption of sugar. Wishing you all the best!
